Birds-Eye-View Map of Pittsburgh, PA - 1902

from $70.00

This birds-eye-view map of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania was originally created by T.M. Fowler and James Moyer and was published in Morrisville, PA in 1902. Fowler was famous for creating 426 panoramic maps of this style in a career spanning over 50 years. Over 200 of those maps were of the state of Pennsylvania. During the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries the cheap cost of printing lithographs and the goal of small towns in America to attract new visitors created a boom of these amazing birds-eye-view portraits of US cities.

This map is printed on high-quality archival paper and made to order. Add a frame to your map and we’ll have it custom built and delivered to your door with free shipping.
